Hello, GEMS and Parents!
It’s another special GEMS week! Please carefully read and make notes of the details!
Club night takes place on Wednesday, March 2, from 6:30 – 8:30 PM at Unity CRC. It’s GEMS Practice/Tea & Banquet Prep. Girls will practice for GEMS Sunday and will be crafting/preparing for our special April events –a Ladies’ Tea and Mother-Daughter Banquet (more details to come!)
Don’t forget your loose change for our Service Projects. So far the girls have raised $20.53 for The Esther School and $28.55 for their Sister Club!
GEMS SUNDAY IS MARCH 6! And it’s HUGE in the life of our club. Every girl leads in a special way!
When: March 6, 2016
Where: Unity CRC in Prinsburg (where girls have club!)
Time: 9:30 AM (please have your daughter[s] there at 9:10 AM)
Who: All GEMS and their families are special guests! Invite grandparents, uncles & aunts, cousins & friends
Uniform: GEMS shirt and blue jeans
Why: This is an annual worship celebration that . . .
- Thanks God for all He’s doing at club this year.
- Gives girls opportunity to serve in special ways. Every girl will have a speaking part plus singing and doing Their pictures will be highlighted in PowerPoint presentations, and they have special jobs like greeting, distributing bulletins, and serving snacks after the service.
- A praise report will be given that highlights all the girls experienced this season.
- Pastor Steve’s sermon will focus on this year’s GEMS theme: Choose Truth.
- It will be meaningful and fun!
